Inside ViewThe Orchard Bar has been a public house for many years with several names, but it surely has never looked as stylish and welcoming as it does now.

The pub has been refurbished from its dull days as the Northern Bar and now presents itself as an upmarket local pub.

Our Menu

The menu is simple and contemporary with lots of tempting homely dishes that will always please. The emphasis is on quality; fresh ingredients produced by a great Head Chef and his food loving team. Our pub favourites menu and daily specials menu are served 12 – 8.30pm every day.

We feel our menu offers excellent quality and value for money, with restaurant standard dishes at very reasonable prices.

Children are welcome in our dining room at the Orchard and a delicious Kids menu is available 12-8.30pm

Beers, Wines & Spirits

The extensive wine list has an even balance of new and old world wines with a variety of styles to choose from. For those celebrating a special occasion there are some great Champagnes. Speciality beers, Deuchers IPA and a guest ale are always on tap.

Functions

Our side room is also available for functions and various catering options are available . We have had various styles of functions at the Orchard ranging from Office party’s to Christenings and we have even hosted a couple of small weddings. Capacity varies on the style and type of event but up to 90 for drinks parties is comfortable.

Service

At the Orchard we offer “Continental Style” floor service which means we will bring everything to your table and you need never leave your seat!

The most important feature of The Orchard however, are the people who look after you. It is the warmth and hospitality of our team that will make your visit a memorable one.
